Degree structure
a) The degree lasts four semesters. The first two semesters are dedicated to coursework and the final year to the dissertation.

b) Based on credit units, the degree encompasses eight courses which add up to 330 hours of teaching and 20,5 credit units.

Plan of Studies

(*) At least two of the following options will be available in each edition of the degree:
Digital Journalism;
Communication Politics;
International Communication;
Cyberculture and Hypertext;
Polling and Public Opinion Studies.

Successful attendance of courses of other degrees at the University of Minho may count towards this degree, depending on credit units and agreement between the direction committees of Master’s degrees.
